We have had a tough time getting out on to the water lately with all the rain, but hopefully the rivers will get a good flush out and return to normal flows in the coming weeks.

Having said that it looks like some of our members have had some good catches in the lakes. I must shout out to Sheldon for organising the mid-week trips; these fishing days seem to be gathering a strong number of members.

We held our annual “Auction” night a few weeks back. Unfortunately the turnout was small but most of us walked out with some great “must have items” Thanks to Pats very persuasive sales pitch I walked away with a couple of storage boxes that took some explaining when I got home.

The committee is working on the up-and-coming Kids come and try day to be held on the 20 November. If you are available to attend and help it would be greatly appreciated. We will need helpers in the morning to help setup the marquee & BBQ and then help with baiting, guiding participants and cooking the BBQ. In the past it’s been a good fund raiser for us and hopefully this year will be no different. Mending Casts will also be attending to promote the excellent work they do and hopefully raise funds for their next retreat.

Once again thank you for supporting the club!
Stay safe
